Goals — to discuss the nature of a Sales manager in the IT industry. What it's like to sell hi-tech products worldwide from the heart of Siberia. What it takes to be a salesman, is this a dream job, or a nightmare job.
There is a whole bunch of myths and biases when it comes to the IT-salesman position. At this meetup, we will try to figure out who is the one who can sell an IT product. Is it the kind of guy who calls you and offers a credit card? What qualities are needed to sell complex products, and is it really good idea to become a salesman?
